SNP's Executive Consultant, Tito R. Marzotto PE, P.Eng, (photo) was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation from the American Concrete Institute in recognition of 50 years of membership. The recognition was announced at ACI's Spring Meeting in Reno, NV on March 23, 2014. Mr. Marzotto has participated in ACI activities over the years including membership in technical committees and contributing articles for the ACI Journal.

Philippine Typhoon Haiyan Disaster Relief
SNP has made a donation, on behalf of our Ontario and Michigan offices, to the Philippine Typhoon Haiyan Disaster Relief effort via Global Medic, a relief organization chosen by the Filipino Community Centre of Windsor, Ontario. The Government of Canada’s Ministry of International Development matched donations dollar for dollar. This is an important relief effort and we applaud the government’s role in assisting the millions of people affected by this tragic occurrence. SNP sends our deepest condolences to the survivors of the typhoon in the Philippines who have lost family and friends as well as their homes.
SNP is Excited to Announce Their First On-Staff Certified Energy Manager
SNP Technical Services is excited to announce that Joshua Lewis, EIT, has successfully completed his Certified Energy Manager (CEM) designation, as offered by the Association of Energy Engineers (http://www.aeecenter.org/). Joshua is the first employee of SNP to receive this internationally respected designation.
Established in 1981, the CEM designation provides a recognizable affirmation of demonstrated competencies in a wide range of energy-related principles and practices. Professionals seeking the CEM designation must meet a board-approved list of pre-qualifications of field experience, prior educational achievements, and a passing CEM exam score.

SNP Establishes Presence in GTA
Santiago N. Pablo, President and CEO of SNP Technical Services, Inc., announced today the creation of a physical presence in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) to better serve SNP’s customers. In addition, SNP has been registered with the Peel Region as a consulting engineering supplier and Mr. John Di Pelino has been named District Manager. Initial Energy Study Submitted
SNP Technical Services Inc. is pleased to announce that the first Preliminary Engineering Study, performed for Chrysler Windsor Assembly Plant and funded by the Ontario Power Authority through their local energy distributor ENWIN, was submitted on December 3rd, 2012. This study was the result of a concerted effort between Chrysler WAP and SNP. Utilizing the funding available through the provincial "Save On Energy"
program, and information from Chrysler's energy cost deployment, a study was prepared for their highest energy using process. Although Chrysler already has a modern operation, this study was successful in identifying other practical ways for them to save energy. These additional measures will be implemented to assist Chrysler in their goal of being the lowest cost manufacturer of vehicles. SNP is looking forward to working with Chrysler and our other clients on future studies under this program.
Enersmart Rebate Payday
A ceremonial rebate check for 6 figures was delivered to management and staff at the Chrysler Windsor Assembly Plant on October 1, 2012. The rebate was a result of a culmination of a series of energy usage and cost deployment evaluations by SNP Technical Services which were eligible for Union Gas energy saving incentives under the ENERSMART program. Accepting the check was Dan Omahan, WAP Plant Manager, on behalf of Chrysler Canada and his managers and staff (centered behind the oversized check). Presenting the check was Harry VandenBrink, Union Gas Ltd., Account Manager for Strategic Industrials (holding the left side of the check). Also participating in the presentation was Santiago Pablo, SNP President, with members of the SNP team (far right of photo). SNP is looking forward to continuing work with Chrysler to maximize their energy savings and incentives.
